Here is the entrance to the "Dinky Dows Motel," Gun II's hootch.  It consisted of two sections.  The guy in the picture left in July 1970.

Here are some guys from Gun II:  Patti, Wilson, Filous, Driver, and Hager.  Wilson, second from left, departed for home the next day.

An incoming mortar round landed just outside the RPG wire near D Battery.  It resulted in one can of shaving cream WIA.  The enemy could have been aiming for the ammo dump just below the "Dinky Dows Motel," D Battery, or the South China Sea.

Every so often, the men from D Battery had to repack the bases on which their guns sat.  The larger charges would loosen the metal stakes around the base of a gun.
