Looking towards the southeast of FSB Hill 4-11, here's a Chinook bringing a sling load of supplies to the Hill.  During the period from about November, 1970 to May, 1971, the road between Quang Ngai and FSB Hill 4-11 was impassable because of enemy mines.  The battalion had lost many men and vehicles, so the resupply convoys from LZ Bronco were stopped.  During this time, FSB Hill 4-11 was resupplied entirely by air, as shown above.
