This picture was taken on Radar Hill in February of 1969. Someone had thrown a sandbag, with ammunition mixed in the sand, on top of a trip flare that went off.

A bunker on Radar Hill manned by members of the Recon Platoon from the 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry which was located on LZ Cork. Radar Hill was mostly manned by the Recon Platoon and the 251st FA Detachment. A Quad 50 and crew came later.
Here is the Quad 50 crew on Radar Hill. The gun and crew arrived in February or March of 1969.
